SCHEDULE
The retreat formally begins with our 6pm feast on December 20, and closes at noon on December 22.
**An optional, beginning lesson in shamanic journeying is offered at 4pm on December 20, for those who wish to attend [complementary].
In the spirit of balancing rest and activity, we will gather in circle for about two hours on the first evening; then three, two-hour sessions on the second day; and for two hours on our final morning together – leaving plenty of downtime simply to bask in the beautiful environment.

VENUE
We are blessed to meet in a beautiful, private sanctuary, built just for gatherings such as ours!
Nestled in a Pacific Northwest forest in the Maxwelton Valley of south Whidbey Island, we will be just 4.5 miles from the Clinton ferry terminal.

GETTING HERE
If flying, the Everett airport (PAE) is a 20-minute drive from the Whidbey ferry. Whether you fly into Everett or Seattle (SEA), we will provide info on the local airport shuttle.
If you take Amtrak, we will provide info on transit to the Whidbey ferry.
We also are happy to help connect registrants who wish to carpool.
Ferries generally leave the Mukilteo terminal every half hour, and the ride is 20 minutes long.
If driving from the north, you won't need the ferry; you can take the bridge over Deception Pass, instead.
Further details and advice will be provided to registrants.

ACCOMMODATIONS
This will be a non-residential retreat, allowing for a wide range of participant budgets.
If you live nearby, you can commute from home.
If you are traveling to Whidbey Island, you can choose from offsite lodging (we'll provide some guidance), bringing your RV to stay in the parking lot (no hookups), or sleeping on a pad on our meeting space floor. A single toilet with sink, and a separate bath/shower, will be shared by those staying onsite.
We'll help to connect those who would like to share offsite lodging with one another.
There may even be local participants who offer space for a guest.

MEALS
We will provide baked Salmon for the opening night potluck feast, as Salmon is an important sustaining deity of the Pacific Northwest.
The potluck will be organized to ensure a delicious and balanced meal that will nourish every body and soul, whether you eat salmon, or are vegetarian or vegan!
After the opening night, you can take your meals in local eateries, get takeout and bring it back to the site, or use the basic, onsite kitchen to prepare your own food. A modest-sized fridge will be shared among participants. Local grocery, deli and restaurant recommendations will be provided.
